COA PADANNAKKAD

The College of Agriculture, Padannakad is situated in Kasaragod, the northern-most district of Kerala. The college was established in the year 1994, as the third agricultural college under the Faculty of Agriculture of the Kerala Agricultural University. Since then it has envisioned a wide range of improvement and development in academic, research and extension needs of the Northern Zone of Kerala. At present there are 21 departments functioning in the College.
         The college offers four year professional degree programme in Agriculture, B.Sc.Hon.(Ag.) Current intake capacity for undergraduate programme is 50. From the academic year 2011-12, the college is also offering Post Graduate Programmes in Agronomy, Soil Science and Agricultural Entomology.
